A delicious lunch or dinner option. This is one of the recipes that I constantly cook for my family for lunch or dinner. Cutlets in pepper with sauce and garnish with mashed potatoes with garlic and herbs. The available ingredients are prepared simply and even quickly.

Recipe:

For cutlets in pepper:

bulgarian pepper - 7-8 pcs.

minced meat -500g

onion -1 pc

salt -1 / 2 tsp

black pepper - to taste

bread -2 slices (50g)

sour cream -1 tbsp.

water -150ml

For the sauce:

tomatoes -1-2pcs (150g)

cheese -100g

garlic -3-4 teeth

black pepper - to taste

mayonnaise -2-3 tbsp (or sour cream)

flour -1 tbsp

For the garlic and green onion mashed potatoes:

potatoes -1kg

garlic -5 tooth

butter -50g

milk -300ml

green onions -1bunch

COOKING METHOD

Pour 2 slices of bread, 50 grams, with water and leave to swell.

Put 500 grams of minced meat in a bowl, grate the onion on a fine grater, add to the minced meat, squeeze the bread from the water and add to the minced meat, put half tsp salt, black pepper, 1 tbsp. sour cream for juiciness, mix, if the minced meat is tight, add a little water in which the bread was soaked.

We will prepare the peppers, remove the seeds, and now we will cut them into 2 or 3 parts, it all depends on the size of your peppers, I do not have a large one, so I divide into 2 parts, the height is about 2 cm. you should get these rings.

Now fill the resulting rings with minced meat.

We take a suitable baking sheet, my internal dimensions are 32 cm by 25 cm, grease with oil, put the peppers.

Let's make the sauce.

Peel the tomatoes, so that it is easier to do it, I boil the water, remove from the heat, lower the tomatoes, leave for 2 minutes, then take them out and put them in cold water.

The skins are now easily removed.

Cut into cubes, you can take 1 large tomato, they are small, so I took 4 things.

Grate cheese 100 grams on a fine grater, put it to the tomatoes, add 2-3 tbsp. mayonnaise or sour cream, mix, add 3 cloves of garlic passed through a garlic press. black pepper to taste and 1 tbsp. flour, mix.

Now distribute the resulting sauce over the peppers. Pour 150 ml of hot water into the bottom.

We put in a preheated oven and cook at 200 degrees for 50 minutes, heating the top and bottom, 1 cook the first 30 minutes without foil, then cover with foil and cook for 15 minutes under foil, then remove and cook for 5 minutes without foil.

Garnish with mashed potatoes with garlic and green onions. Peel the potatoes, the weight of the peeled potatoes is 1 kg and boil in salted water until tender. I have a 3.6 liter saucepan.

Peel and cut the garlic 4 cloves. We take a frying pan and put about 1 tbsp. butter, make the fire small so that the butter does not burn, put the garlic and fry the garlic until a pleasant aroma appears, now pour in 300 ml of milk and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender garlic. At the end of cooking, add 1/3 tsp. nutmeg and remove from heat. Finely chop the green onion.

Drain the potatoes, add butter about 1 tablespoon, turn mashed potatoes into mashed potatoes using a mashed potato, now pour in the garlic with milk and butter and continue to cook the mashed potatoes. Now that the puree is ready, add the green onions and stir with a spoon. The puree is ready.

During this time, the peppers were just prepared.

We take out the peppers from the oven and serve with mashed potatoes and pour over the resulting sauce. By the way, the sauce is very tasty.
