Saturday is baking time, sweet this time. I don't know why, but I have one of the smells of the cold season (except for tangerines and a Christmas tree) - it is the aroma of apples with cinnamon. It seems to be not a very traditional combination for Russia, but it is very warm and warming. Cozy.
So today there will be muffins, but not simple, but "combined". They contain apples, cinnamon, part - a classic muffin, and part - streyzelny crumb. It turns out very tasty.
We take:
A couple of three apples
For the test:
- 120 g butter
- 90 g sugar
- Vanilla sugar bag
- 2 eggs
- 250 g flour
- A pinch of salt
- Powder for baking (according to the instructions on the bag, I have now indicated - a bag for a pound of flour, so I put half a bag, but there are also those designed for 300 grams, so look at the instructions)
- 120 ml milk
For Streusel
- 100 g flour
- 60 g sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 50 gr. butter
- Cinnamon to taste
How we cook:
We clean the apples. cut into thin small slices (taking into account that they fit easily on the bottom of the muffin mold).
Beat the eggs with milk, add a pinch of salt, flour, sugar, baking powder, knead and then stir in a soft creamy little (room temperature).
For crumb, 100 g flour with sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and butter in crumb. If the crumbs collapse into small lumps, then it is not very scary, there is not so much a "crumb" needed as the dough that is obtained from this "crumb".
Put pieces of apples on the bottom of the mold, fill it with dough (half, no more, or maybe less), fill it with crumbs on top (so that the form was two-thirds filled all together as a result), and we send it to the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 170-180 degrees.
Bon Appetit!
