I found the recipe a long time ago from some very old magazine. The liver according to this recipe turns out to be very tasty, flaky and tender. Its taste depends on what herbs to add to it, we love it very much with paprika and Provencal herbs.

The basis, as already mentioned, is cheese. You can take any, and the more aromatic it is, the tastier the cookies will be. It needs to be grated with a fine grater.

We send the grated cheese to the salad bowl, there are also flour and herbs (spices), which will make the cookies aromatic. Then add the butter, which must first be cut into cubes and cooled. Butter, flour and cheese need to be rubbed into coarse crumbs with your hands.

Next, add the egg and 2 tablespoons of water, knead the dough.

The dough must be rolled out by dusting the surface with flour, its thickness should be approximately 0.7 mm. And with the help of a glass or a culinary ring, we cut out the cookies.

We lay out our blanks on baking paper and once again sprinkle with herbs on top.

We send a baking sheet with future cookies to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

The aroma in the kitchen is just crazy and can hardly woo the patience to wait for the hot cookies to cool down a little. It turns out to be layered and airy.
