Calissons: Cookpad and Christmas Sweets

Ingredients: almond flour, powdered sugar, orange peels, orange juice, Icing:, Powdered sugar, egg white, Food colors

Cooking method:

I made these Kalisson French sweets with homemade candied orange peels.

Put the candied orange peels in a blender cup and mix well until smooth.

Next, add almond flour and powdered sugar. If you like sweeter then add more sugar. Mix well.

Place the almond dough in a flat dish. Leave it on for a few hours to dry completely. If the dough is still damp, bake in an oven preheated to 100 degrees for about 5 minutes.

Cut the cookies using the cookie cutter. The dough is still soft so be careful.

For the glaze, gradually pour the egg white into the icing sugar and mix. Then gently apply to the cookies.

Leave to dry overnight. You can make different colored glaze and decorate as desired.
