Cooking method:

Add sugar, flour, spices and baking powder to the butter at room temperature, cut into pieces. Grind everything into crumbs. Add an egg and knead an elastic dough (I kneaded it with my hands, the dough is tight, the mixer will not cope). Cover the dough with foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes, so the dough will become a little denser.

We take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it out and cut out the cookies.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° for ~ 15 minutes until golden brown. The baking time depends on the thickness of the cookie (the thinner you roll, the less time it takes to bake). I advise you to roll out 0.5-0.8 mm. They rise slightly during baking. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or garnish with icing when cool. Enjoy your tea! 🧡
