There are a huge number of recipe for dumplings. Today I will share the recipe that I usually make for the festive table. Dumplings have an unusual appearance due to the addition of dill to the dough and a bright taste.

Homemade dumplings with kefir and dill

Ingredients: chicken egg, salt, kefir, soda, dill, wheat flour, minced meat, onions, garlic, salt, pepper

Cooking method:

Cooking the dough. Beat the egg and salt. Pour in kefir, add soda, mix and leave for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, finely chop the dill.

Add dill to the fermented milk mass, stir.

Add the sifted flour in several stages. Mix first with a spatula, then with your hands. Leave the soft plastic dough for 20 minutes, covering it with a towel.

Salt minced meat, pepper, add chopped onion and garlic. We mix.

Knead the rested dough, cut into two parts. We work with each separately. We roll out one thinly, while we remove the second under the towel.

We cut out the blanks with a mold or glass. Remove excess dough.

Take a teaspoon of the filling and put it on the dough. We connect the edges, pinch and press the corners together. We do everything by analogy with the rest of the test.

Boil homemade dumplings in boiling water, salted to taste, along with bay leaves - after surfacing, keep them in boiling water for 8-10 minutes.
