Beat the egg with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Pour in warm milk, stir. Mix the flour with dry yeast and, gradually adding to the egg-milk mixture, knead the dough first with a whisk, then with your hands. Lastly, add melted butter and knead it into the dough. The dough should be smooth and soft. Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film or a towel and put in a warm place to rise for 1-1.5 hours.
The finished dough will increase significantly in volume. To prepare the filling, grind the cottage cheese with eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Form small equal balls of the dough and place them on a greased baking sheet at a distance from each other. Leave to rise for 20 minutes.
Then press the middle of each dough ball almost to the bottom. Put the curd filling into the resulting grooves. Brush all the homemade cottage cheese cakes with an egg and milk mixture and leave for another 10 minutes. Then put in an oven preheated to 190 degrees and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
