Cooking method:
For minced meat, pass beef, onion, bacon and cilantro through a meat grinder. Add rice, water, spices and an egg to them. Mix everything thoroughly. Minced meat should not be liquid. Wet hands slightly with water and form small balls. From this amount of minced meat, I got 10 balls. We put them on a plate. I advise you to add all the spices a little bit and taste. You can add more or less than the recipe says.
For frying, finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown for a couple of minutes.
Add tomato paste and stir.
Add water, spices and wait for the water to boil.
As the water boils, add rice and cook for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add the meatballs. We are waiting for them to float up.
As the meatballs float up, add the potatoes. Cook over medium heat for 25 minutes. Until potatoes and rice are fully cooked.
At the end, add greens and mix. We are enjoying a very tasty and hearty soup.
