I love the Tsifra cake, because it can be prepared in absolutely any shape and for any occasion.
Ingredients: For honey cakes, C1 eggs, honey, sugar, butter, wheat flour, salt, soda, spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg), For cream cheese, curd cheese, cream 35%, sugar powders
Cooking method:
Weigh and prepare the ingredients.
We put a saucepan with a thick bottom on the stove, pour out all the honey, pour out all the sugar, salt and spices.
When the sugar begins to melt, stir frequently. Cook until all the sugar is dissolved.
Before introducing the eggs, the dough must be cooled so that the protein does not curdle, so add cold oil, stir until the oil is completely dissolved.
Add eggs and mix until smooth.
Add baking soda, mix quickly, the dough should foam and increase in volume.
Add flour until the dough is thin and well mixed.
We put a rug on the table and sprinkle it with flour, dump the dough and knead until it becomes plastic and stops sticking to our hands.
We put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, after wrapping it with cling film or putting it in a zip bag.
Divide the resulting dough into 3 parts (3 cakes).
Roll out, apply a template and cut out.
We make holes on the resulting cake with a fork so that it does not deform in the oven.
We send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes. We take out the cakes, cool them so that they harden and you can collect the cake. With the cream, everything is simple - whip the cream with powdered sugar and gradually add the curd cheese, make buns around the entire perimeter of the cake, using a pastry bag.
As a filling, I took orange jam, it needs to be distributed between the creamy buns on the cakes. This cake needs time to be infused in the refrigerator, then the cakes will become soft. Bon Appetit!
