You can make a cake by cutting the biscuit into cakes, or simply decorate and serve in the shape of a pie (which I often do). The biscuit turns out to be very tasty, delicate, porous and, most importantly, not dry, therefore it is not necessary to soak and lubricate it with cream. Although the cakes are perfect! Moreover, it is delicious with any cream! Great recipe! And it always works! I'm 100% sure of him!

I noticed that such a biscuit tastes much better on the second and third day. But we often eat most of it immediately after cooking. Because it's hard to stop on one piece))

HOW TO COOK:

First you need to melt the butter. I do this on the stove or in the microwave. The oil must not be hot! If you suddenly overheat, it is better to cool it.

Beat eggs with sugar in a bowl. I always take eggs at room temperature, not from the refrigerator! Beat until the mixture has increased in volume by about 3 times. By time it is 8-9 minutes.

Now I pour sifted flour with starch, vanilla and baking powder into a lush mixture of eggs and sugar. Carefully! In parts! Not all at once!

I add a little and mix with a spatula to one side. Carefully! Then a little more flour with starch, mix again. In the video, I showed how I do it (see the video at the end of the article).

Stir until the dough is smooth. There should be no lumps! I add the melted butter in the same way, in parts (again, it should not be hot!). Gently mix again.

The dough turns out like thick sour cream. I pour it into a greased mold and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Usually I check for readiness with a wooden stick.

Let it cool well on the wire rack. If there is no such grill, any other will do (from the oven, for example). The diameter of my mold is 26 cm, but you can take a mold with a smaller diameter - then the biscuit will turn out higher.

And that's all. It remains to decorate the biscuit. I sprinkle with powdered sugar and confectionery powder. And you can try))

RECIPE:

• Eggs - 4 pcs.
• Sugar - 150 g
• Baking powder - 10 g
• Flour - 100 g
• Starch (potato) - 100 g
• Butter - 70 g
• Vanillin - 1 pack.
