These sandwiches can be prepared for a delicious and hearty breakfast. I like them because, when cooking in the oven, they get an appetizing crisp bottom, as if they were croutons. And all thanks to the fact that the baking sheet is oiled.

Hot sandwiches with sausage and cheese in the oven

Ingredients: Baton, Tomato, Boiled sausage, Hard cheese, Mayonnaise, Vegetable oil, Greens

Cooking method:

Take all the ingredients you need to make hot sausage and cheese sandwiches in the oven. Cut the loaf into slices or take ready-made ones. You can take any sausage. I will cook from boiled sausage. Choose tomatoes that are dense so that they cut well.

Cut the prepared sausage into circles and then into small cubes.

Wash the tomatoes, cut in half and remove the stalk. Chop the tomatoes finely. In a bowl, combine the sliced sausage with tomatoes.

Grate the cheese directly into the bowl.

Add a little mayonnaise and mix all the ingredients well together. You don't need to add extra mayonnaise, otherwise it will flow out during baking.

Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil and lay out the chopped loaf slices.

Spread the prepared sausage filling with tomatoes on each slice of loaf. Sprinkle everything on top with chopped fresh herbs. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 15-20 minutes. Be guided by your oven.

These sandwiches are prepared very quickly. The cheese will have time to melt on the surface, and a crispy crust will appear on the bottom. Remove the cooked sausage and cheese sandwiches from the oven and transfer to a plate.
