Ingredients: - oyster mushrooms or mushrooms, - water, - garlic, - allspice peas, - black pepper peas, - bay leaf, - vegetable oil, - vinegar 9%, - sugar, - salt, For serving, - green onions or onion
Cooking method:
Separate the oyster mushrooms from each other, rinse gently with cool water, drain the water by placing them in a colander. Cut large mushrooms into 2 - 3 pieces, but not very finely.
Prepare the marinade: pour clean filtered or bottled water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt, 2 types of peas, bay leaf, garlic cloves crushed with a knife. Bring to a boil and pour in vegetable oil and vinegar.
Dip the prepared mushrooms into the marinade, bring to a boil, reduce heat to a minimum and cook oyster mushrooms for 8 minutes, if you have champignons - 5 minutes. Do not cover the pan, remove the formed foam.
After 8 minutes, remove the pan from the stove, cover and let the mushrooms cool completely in the marinade. The cooled mushrooms can be served immediately, and for storage, you can transfer them to a clean jar, pour marinade, close the lid tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Before serving, drain the mushrooms, add chopped green or onions, season with vegetable oil if desired, I did not season, since there is already vegetable oil in the marinade. The oyster mushrooms turned out to be very tasty: spicy, with a rich pickled taste and a slight hint of sweetness. Bon appetit and all the best and delicious to you! ππ
