Ingredients: beets, potatoes, carrots, onions (preferably red), herring (peeled), eggs, gelatin, mayonnaise
Cooking method:
Boil vegetables and eggs and grate them on a coarse grater in separate containers. Dilute gelatin according to the instructions on the package and mix with mayonnaise. We clean the herring and cut it into small cubes, the onion also needs to be finely chopped. Then combine the herring with onions and grease well with mayonnaise. Mix eggs with carrots and also grease with mayonnaise. We coat separately the beets and separately the potatoes.
We take suitable dishes, cover with cling film and lay out the prepared vegetables in layers in reverse order: first layer - beets, then carrots with egg, then herring with onions and the last layer potato. I got two tiers. Cover the top with cling film and put it in the refrigerator.
When the gelatin hardens, take it out of the refrigerator, remove the top film and turn it over onto a flat dish. We remove the form and the film.
