Spicy, aromatic, moist, with "drunk" dried fruits and orange notes. You will definitely want to eat more than one bite.
Ingredients: prunes (cut into pieces), dark raisins, light raisins (I have dried cherries), dark Rum (cognac, whiskey, etc.), butter, brown sugar, honey, juice and zest of 2 oranges, a mixture of spices (cinnamon, cloves, musk. walnut, cardamom), cocoa powder, ground almonds
Cooking method:
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan, while stirring, bring to a boil, simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set to cool.
As soon as the mixture becomes warm, add 3 eggs, ground almonds, 150 g flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, a pinch of salt.
Stir until fully combined, arrange in shapes. (I came out with 3 foil standard cupcake tins).
Be sure to line the forms with baking paper, otherwise you will not take them out. Bake at 150 ° С for 60-80 minutes until tender.
Allow to cool completely, wrap in foil and remove to ripen for at least a day. (It took me a little over a month to mature. But it's delicious anyway).
