Based on the author's recipe from the Greek platform #kanikuli
Ingredients: flour, sugar (brown can be used), eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder, olive oil, salt, Vanillin, Chocolate drops for decoration (optional), powdered sugar if desired
Cooking method:
Mix flour, baking powder, vanillin, cocoa powder
In another bowl, mix eggs well with sugar and salt, add olive oil
Now add a little flour to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly
Next, roll balls of dough the size of a walnut (or less) and spread them on a covered baking sheet at a distance from each other. You can pre-roll in powdered sugar Cookies can be flattened a little and then they turn out to be flatter. I just made balls. You can decorate if you want - I used everything I could find
We send it to an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 9-12 minutes (depending on the size of the cookies and oven). Do not hold for longer - otherwise they will turn into stones! The first time I held them for about 20 minutes (hot cookies are soft, and as they cool, they harden) - and I got stone cakes and, it seems, even burned a little from the bottom!
After the time has elapsed, remove from the oven and let cool well! Very tasty with milk, tea, coffee and even just like that - as you like! Bon Appetit!
