Try fish cakes with pork belly. The pike itself is a rather dry fish, so if you add a little meat with a layer of fat, it will not only not hurt, but, on the contrary, will improve the quality and taste of the cutlets. #quickly
Ingredients: pike fillet, pork belly, large onion, white loaf, milk, egg yolk, Salt, pepper, vegetable oil, Rice flour for breading
Cooking method:
Pour the loaf with milk, let stand for a while. Onion cut into cubes, sauté over medium heat until soft. Cool down.
To prepare minced meat, I used a chopper, as there is no meat grinder😁. Kill the pike fillet, do the same with the brisket.
Add the cooled onion, softened loaf to the minced meat and beat again in a blender.
Add the egg yolk, salt, pepper to the minced meat, mix well. Lightly beat off the minced meat, in the process, if necessary, you can add a little milk.
Form small meatballs from minced meat, roll them in flour and fry in the usual way over low heat under a lid for 15 minutes on both sides.
Do not worry, the crust under the lid still turns out, and the cutlets themselves are amazing, very tasty, both hot and cold!
