And practically free! But I cook this way not because it is cheap, but because it is very tasty! And yet no one from the first time understood what was in the filling. They are surprised when I reveal the composition. But everyone loves it!
Pies with such a filling can be prepared from any dough. You can fry them, bake them, or even steam them. Today I have dough on kefir. This is how I cook most of the time.
Dough Ingredients:
• Kefir (room temperature) - 500 ml
• Sour cream - 2 tbsp.
• Flour ~ 800 g
• Sugar - 2 tbsp.
• Salt - 0.5 tsp.
• Soda - 1 tsp.
• Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
• Egg - 1 pc.
HOW TO COOK:
I sift about 500 g of flour into a bowl, add the egg, salt, sugar, vegetable oil, sour cream and soda.
Then gradually pour in kefir. It must be at room temperature. I knead the dough, adding more flour.
When it stops sticking to my hands, I put it in a bag for half an hour.
And I'm making the stuffing. Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
I cut pickled cucumbers into small cubes. Of course, you can also grate it, but I like cubes more - the filling is juicier. If there are no pickles, you can take pickled ones. But here it is important to remember that the taste of the filling depends on the taste of the cucumbers! Therefore, I always take only delicious cucumbers!
I fry them in the second pan. It is necessary to evaporate the liquid and lightly brown the pieces of cucumbers.
When it cools down - I mix cucumbers with onions. And the filling is ready!
• Pickled cucumbers - 4-5 pcs.
• Bow - 3 pcs.
• Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
I cut the dough into pieces and make pies.
I fry the pies on both sides until golden brown.
But you can bake pies. At 180 degrees I bake for 20-25 minutes. Pies are best laid out on a baking sheet with the seam down. Can be brushed with egg. But I do not lubricate - and so appetizing and tasty are obtained.
