Very tasty fried pies. It can be eaten as a separate dish, or with the first instead of bread.
Ingredients: mkui, milk, egg, tbsp vegetable oil (for dough), tbsp sugar, tsp. l.salt, grams of yeast, potatoes, onions, Vegetable oil for frying
Cooking method:
Beat the egg with salt, sugar and vegetable oil. Add yeast (not dry) to warm milk. Gradually add flour and knead a soft dough. Cover it with a towel and put it in a warm place.
If the dough has risen too much, flatten it with your hands. When the dough comes up a second time, you can start sculpting pies.
For the filling: Peel potatoes, boil, mash. Chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil until golden brown. Then add the onion and the oil in which it was fried in the puree and mix well. Instead of onions, I often use "roastings" (the remnants of bacon, when I heat lard, I twist it through a meat grinder and then add it instead of onions in mashed potatoes, it turns out even tastier).
Lubricate the table with vegetable oil and lay out the dough. Divide it into balls and form pies, flatten a little in the palms.
Fry the pies in vegetable oil (place in hot oil) until cooked on both sides.
P.S. If there are a lot of pies for you, do not be discouraged. Put them in the fridge and heat up and microwave for a few seconds before serving. They will become as soon as baked.
Bon appetit everyone!
