I looked at a lot of recipes for this dish and could not choose which one to cook specifically, I did it myself as I see it. Perhaps in a thin crispy dough it would have been more correct, but I cooked in a soft one and this replaced the bread.

Shah pilaf with chicken in sour cream dough

Ingredients: Chicken meat, Onion, Carrot, Spices for pilaf, Saffron, Rice, Raisins, Prunes, Dried apricots, Dough, Sour cream, Flour, Water, Eggs, Sugar, Sunflower oil, Salt

Cooking method:

Wash the rice until the water runs clear. We prepare it.

Fry the chicken, add onions, carrots, spices, simmer for 20 minutes.

At the same time, we make the dough. You can do it in pita bread.

We spread the dough into a mold, I did it in a roaster. We divide the rice in half. We put one part of the rice on the dough, pour a little saffron (the saffron was filled with water, let it brew and strained), then spread the meat, raisins and prunes. Lay the remaining rice on top. I drizzled it with melted butter. Cover with dough and lid on top. If the form does not have a lid, then foil.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Closer to the end of the time, open the lid and let it brown.

We take out shah pilaf in a dish.
