Meat pies without dough - this is a lifesaver recipe for every day! These lazy meat pies come out delicious, fragrant and juicy. They are somewhat reminiscent of pasties with meat and cheese, but without too much trouble. Such pies-envelopes are very popular with children and adults. You can safely take them to nature, for a snack, and guests are not ashamed to serve them.
These pita bread pies are prepared so simply that everyone can do it! It is enough just to prepare the filling, wrap it in pita bread, fry until golden. And already the oven will bring the pies to full readiness to be sure that the filling is not raw.
Now every hostess will be able to boast of delicious unusual meat pies without sacrificing time.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet (minced meat) - 700 g
  • lavash thin rectangular - 4 pcs.
  • cheese - 150 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sour cream (kefir) - 100 ml
  • salt - 1/2 tbsp. l.
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • vegetable oil - for frying

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the minced meat. 700 g chicken breast cut into large pieces. We twist the prepared pieces in a meat grinder.
You can also cook minced meat from other parts of the chicken or buy it ready-made.

2. 150 g of three cheese on a coarse grater.

3. Put grated cheese in a bowl with prepared minced meat and add 100 g of sour cream. Sour cream can be replaced with kefir.
Minced meat is salted with about half tbsp. l. salt and pepper to taste. We mix everything well.

4. We take one sheet of pita bread and lay it out on a flat surface.
We put a part of the cooked minced meat on the pita bread and evenly distribute it in a thin layer over the entire surface.
Lavash with minced meat is folded along the long side so that you get a long flat roll.
So we prepare all the sheets of pita bread. For this amount of minced meat, I needed 4 sheets of pita bread.

5. Cut each roll into square portions. The width of each piece is approximately 6 cm.

6. In a separate bowl, break 2 eggs, salt them a little and beat with a fork.

7. We dip each piece of pita bread on all sides in beaten eggs and put it on a preheated pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Fry literally for half a minute on each side until a light golden color.

8. Put all the fried pies in a baking dish.

9. We put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.

The pies are ready. These lazy meat pies are best served warm. They turn out very tasty and satisfying. They are not difficult and quick to prepare, since you do not need to knead the dough.
