Delicate, fragrant, simple and so delicious homemade cookies with jam! This is an excellent and affordable homemade pastry for fragrant tea! Such cookies do not get bored, because each time you can cook them with a new filling. Children are delighted with such homemade cookies with jam. These amazing cookies taste even better the next day, if, of course, they lie down.
Making these cookies is very easy. Products for this baking are almost always found in the refrigerator. It's also a great way to use a not-so-popular jam.
Try this simple recipe for tea cookies, I think it will become one of your favorites too.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 400 g
  • butter - 200 g
  • jam or jam - 150 g
  • sugar - 130 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • milk - 2 tbsp. l.
  • baking powder for dough - 15 g
  • starch - 3 tbsp. l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, knead the dough.
Break 2 eggs into a bowl, pour 2 tbsp. l. milk and pour 130 g of sugar.
Beat everything with a mixer until light foam.

2. Add 200 g of soft butter to the egg mixture.
Again, beat everything until smooth.

3. Here we add 400-450 g of flour and 15 g of baking powder in 2 sets. Knead the dough first with a mixer and then with your hands.

4. The dough should be soft and uniform.
We roll the finished dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for one hour.

5. Divide the chilled dough into 2 parts.
Roll each part of the dough into a rectangular layer with a thickness of about 2 mm. Roll out on a silicone mat. If not, then the dough can be rolled out on cling film or parchment paper. When rolling out the dough, be sure to sprinkle with flour.

6. We take 150 g of jam or jam and mix it with 1 tbsp. l. corn starch. This is done so that the jam does not flow out much during baking.

7. Put half of the prepared jam on the rolled out sheet of dough. Spread it over the dough with the thinnest layer that is obtained. Do not put a lot of jam, otherwise it will all leak out during baking. I use raspberry jam.

8. Cut the roll into roughly equal parts. Every time after cutting, I wipe the knife so that the cut is clean and it is easier to cut.
Dip the prepared rolls on the sides in starch and put them on a baking sheet covered with Teflon or parchment paper.
I got a whole pan of these rolls.

9. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Cookies rolls with jam turned out very tasty, tender and fragrant.
If such cookies lie overnight, then the next day it will become even tastier and softer. But in my family, these cookies don't last that long.
