Cooking method:

Preparing dough for pies. Sift the flour, pour it in a slide, make a depression in the center, where we pour in warm water, milk, add salt, sugar, yeast and knead the dough.

While the dough is standing, prepare the filling. Peel potatoes and boil in salted water until soft. Make mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes.

Cut the onion into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the fried onions along with the butter to the mashed potatoes. Add more salt (if necessary) and freshly ground pepper to taste and also add dill. Mix the stuffing well.

To prevent the dough from sticking, grease your hands and work surface with vegetable oil. Punch down the potato pie dough and place on a work surface.

Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into balls, let the dough rise a little (5-10 minutes). Gently flatten each ball with your fingertips. Put a warm (not hot!) stuffing in the middle of the cake - about one full teaspoon each.

Lay the potato patties on a greased surface, seam side down. Pour a large amount of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or pan (deep-frying), heat up.
