Cooking method:
Rinse the chicken inside and out. Dry with paper towels. Salt and pepper the chicken inside and out (rub the salt into the skin). Leave for about 1 hour at room temperature.
Put a slice of lemon, bay leaf and garlic inside the chicken. Put the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for about 60 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees (the baking time depends on the size of the chicken: for every 500 g of weight - 20 minutes of baking). Next, coat the chicken with glaze.
For the glaze, mix the tomato paste, butter, sugar, soy sauce, hot pepper and garlic. Heat until the glaze becomes homogeneous, but do not let it boil. remove the chicken from the oven, grease with glaze and put it back in the oven for about 15 minutes at a temperature of 160 degrees (we are guided by the color of the crust). The chicken is ready!
