Ingredients: Dough:, butter, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, egg, flour, large sweet apple, Meringue:, egg white, sugar, lemon juice

Cooking method:

To prepare the dough in a deep bowl, beat softened butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until fluffy. Add egg, continue beating until smooth. Add flour, quickly knead the dough. The dough is homogeneous, soft, does not stick to hands. Put the dough in a bag and send it to the refrigerator while the apple slices are being prepared.

Peel the apple, cut into quarters, remove the core. Cut each part of the apple into thin slices, sprinkle with lemon juice so as not to darken. Take out the dough.

Roll out the dough to a 1 cm layer and cut out hearts using a cookie cutter. Place the hearts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place sliced ​​apple slices on each heart. Send to the oven with a temperature of 180 degrees for 10 minutes, then raise the temperature to 200 degrees and hold for another three to five minutes. While the hearts are baking, prepare the meringue.

Beat egg white with lemon juice, continuing to beat, add sugar in two doses. Transfer the finished mass into a pastry bag with a small nozzle. Remove the baking sheet with the hearts from the oven and carefully squeeze the meringue onto each. Send back to the oven with a temperature of 200 degrees for 3-4 minutes. Get it, chill it.
