The most delicious potato pancakes. Previously, you had to grate potatoes on a fine grater, which required a lot of time and effort, today I will tell you how to facilitate this process. I am sure that now you will cook draniki more often, I will also share the recipe for the perfect sauce for draniki.
Recipe:
- potatoes -1 kg
- salt -1/2 tsp
For sauce:
- sour cream -150 gr (or mayonnaise)
- pickled cucumber - 1 pc.
- dill greens - to taste
- salt - to taste
- black pepper - to taste
COOKING METHOD
Peel the potatoes, the weight of the peeled potatoes is 1 kg, and peel the onion, thanks to the addition of onions, the potato dough will not darken.
Cut into cubes with a knife, put in a bowl, take an immersion blender and turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes, a couple of minutes and the potato dough is ready.
I add only salt to the potatoes, a little more than half a teaspoon per 1 kg, I don’t add flour and eggs and I don’t squeeze the potatoes.
If you still don’t have a blender, but you want potato pancakes, three potatoes on the smallest grater.
Pour vegetable oil into the pan, heat it up, put the dough in the pan with a tablespoon and fry until golden brown on both sides.
For the sauce, cut the cucumber, dill and mix with sour cream, adding salt, black pepper, garlic if desired.
