Fried pies with cabbage

Ingredients: flour, warm milk, fresh yeast, egg, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, cabbage, medium carrots, medium onions, ground allspice black pepper, Salt for the filling, vegetable oil for fillings

Cooking method:

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warmed milk, mixing well. We leave for 15 minutes so that the yeast "comes to life" - a foamy "cap" will appear on the surface. Pour the dough into the sifted flour with salt, add the egg and vegetable oil, mix well, add the flour if the dough is very sticky. It should not turn out too steep, but do not knead for a long time, as it starts to come off your hands, there is enough flour. Put in a deep bowl, cover, put in a warm place for 1-1.2 hours.

The dough should increase by 2.5-3 times. We spread on a surface sprinkled with flour, divide into pieces the size of a large egg, roll out about 5 mm thick.

Prepare the filling in advance: fry shredded cabbage in oil, add grated carrots, finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, add a little water and simmer under the lid until cooked, occasionally stirring. We put the finished chilled filling on the dough circles, pinch well, and form our pies.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it well and fry the pies over medium heat, turning over. They cook fast like donuts. Once browned, remove and place on a paper towel. Ready!
