I got hooked on meatballs and have been cooking them too often lately. I usually make them in tomato sauce, but now I want a creamy one. Fluffy Rice and Meatballs in Creamy Onion Sauce

Ingredients: homemade minced meat (pork + beef), egg, White bread, milk, onion, cream 10%, Salt, Black ground pepper, Dried ground garlic, Fresh parsley, Flour, Garnish, steamed golden rice, filtered water, Salt, Creamy butter

Cooking method:

Break the loaf, put it in a bowl and pour over the milk. The milk should be completely absorbed • Break the egg into the food processor, add the soaked bread and beat everything at high speed.

Put the minced meat in the combine, salt and pepper. Perebeyte at medium speed • Put the finished minced meat in a bowl and beat it lightly on the bottom in it plates, so all excess air will go away • Cover the minced meat with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Take out the minced meat and form meatballs with wet hands. I used a teaspoon for dosing • Dip each meatball in flour.

Cut the onion into half rings and fry in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until golden, put in a bowl.

In the same pan where the onion was fried, heat another 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and put one meatballs at a time • Fry the meatballs over medium heat on all sides until crusty.

Dip the onion in a blender, add salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of flour and pour in the cream. Whisk.

Finely chop the parsley.

Pour the meatballs with the resulting sauce and add greens, stir • Simmer on the slowest fire for 15 minutes, stir occasionally.

Rice must be poured with boiling water and drained, repeat the procedure two more times • Rinse 5 times with cold water, leave the rice in cold water for 6 times water for 30 minutes • Drain and rinse the rice under running water for the last time • Put 2 cups of clean water on the fire and bring to a boil and only THEN put rice in it • Reduce the heat to medium and cook the rice for 20 minutes (boiling time will depend on the variety), do NOT stir.

The cooked rice will absorb all the water. Remove the rice from the heat, add the butter and cover, stir the porridge after 5 minutes.
