These cabbage cutlets are prepared quite quickly and not at all difficult. Young cabbage itself is tender and does not require long preparation. Therefore, such a dish will not take you much time.

Ingredients:

  • young cabbage - 700 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • cheese - 50 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • flour - 5 tbsp. l.
  • salt - to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • sunflower oil for frying

Step by step recipe

1. A head of cabbage weighing about 700 g is cut into several parts. Salt a little boiling water and put chopped cabbage into it.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook the cabbage for 3-4 minutes.

2. Transfer the boiled cabbage to a colander to drain the water.
When the cabbage has cooled down a bit and excess liquid has drained from it, chop it with a knife, leaving the stalk.

3. Cut one onion into cubes.
Fry the chopped onion in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown.

4. 50 grams of three cheese on a coarse grater.

5. Put chopped cabbage, fried onions, grated cheese in a bowl, break 1 egg here, add a little salt and pepper. At the end, add about 5 tablespoons of flour.
We mix everything well.

6. We form cutlets. One cutlet - about 1 tbsp. l. cabbage mass. In order to make it easier to form cutlets, we moisten our hands a little with water.
We put cutlets on a hot frying pan with a small amount of sunflower oil.

7. After the cutlets are browned on one side, turn them over to the other side and cover them with a lid.
Simmer covered for about 3-4 minutes.

Ready cutlets are served on the table. It is best to serve these cutlets hot and with sour cream.
Cutlets from young cabbage turned out fragrant, tender and very tasty. Such cutlets can be served not only as an independent dish, but also as a side dish for meat.
