If you have half a glass of kvass left - do not rush to pour it out! This is a great base for a fluffy and delicious cupcake! Before, I did not know that kvass can be used to prepare any dishes, except for okroshka. And I was pleasantly surprised when the cupcake turned out very airy and tasty.

Cooking:
We mix kvass and honey and heat it up a little, stirring constantly so that the honey is completely dissolved.
Add eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil, and sugar to kvass and honey. Beat with a mixer or whisk until smooth.
Add flour mixed with baking powder and knead the dough. It should be like sour cream in consistency. At the same stage, add raisins or nuts to the dough. You can do without them - it will still be delicious.
Put the dough into an oiled mold.
IMPORTANT! The cake rises very well during baking, so fill the mold with dough about half or 2/3.
We bake the cake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. The readiness of the cake can be easily checked with a wooden skewer or match.
You can sprinkle the top of the cake with icing sugar and decorate as you wish.
