Today I want to offer you the most useful dessert with soft cottage cheese, fruits and chia seeds.

Chia seeds are a superfood rich in healthy fatty acids, vitamins, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and fiber. It stabilizes the digestive system, regulates blood sugar levels, makes skin clearer, hair healthier, bones stronger, and the mind clearer.

We need not just proteins, but the amino acids they contain. A number of amino acids are essential (not synthesized by the body), and most plant foods do not contain a complete set of essential amino acids, unlike chia seeds.

That is why those who have given up meat and most animal products should include chia seeds in their diet.

Cooking dessert with chia seeds.

The dessert is prepared very quickly, but you need to insist it in the refrigerator for several hours.

Therefore, it is better to prepare a dessert quickly in the evening and put it in the refrigerator, and the next day you will have a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack.

Add chia seeds to water and stir. First of all, I fill it with water to rinse. The seeds will have time to swell in the dessert itself.

Without hesitation, beat soft cottage cheese with a banana.

You can use any berries or fruits. I chose a banana because I like bananas, the banana was available and no additional sweeteners were required for my taste.

Add chia seeds to cottage cheese with banana, draining the water (I used a small strainer). Chia seeds by this time have already begun to swell.

You should not hesitate so that the chia do not crumple.

We shift our dessert into a bowl and put it in the refrigerator.

While the dessert is infusing, the chia will increase even more in volume, and also make the dessert a little more fat.

When serving, you can decorate with fruit or, for example, sprinkle with grated chocolate.

  • soft cottage cheese 5.5% - 160 g (yogurt can be used),
  • banana - 110 g,
  • chia seeds - 10 g.

KBJU per 100 g: K - 109, B - 5.88, F - 4.4, U - 12.5.

KBJU for the whole serving (280 g): K - 305, B - 16.5 F - 12.2, U - 35.1.
