I have three options for how to store fresh lemon for a long time:

First option

The whole lemon immediately cut into pieces a la carte. I cut into rings, then cut them in half. I take a clean, dry jar and spread the lemon slices, sprinkling them with sugar. Sugar not regret.

Lemons in the sugar stored in the refrigerator, they have not been spoiled and get comfortable - picked up the spoon and tea. If you drink tea is not sweet, then a pre-pour over lemon cold boiled water.

The second option

Similar to the first, since there is also need sugar, but it's a slightly different way. In this case, cut the lemon into slices is not necessary. Take a saucer, pour the sugar and put on him a lemon cut down. When you need lemon, cut and cut again put it down on the sugar.

The third option

For those who drink tea without sugar. Lemon cut into pieces - halves or quarters and freeze. When you want to drink tea with lemon, just got a piece and put in a cup. From the hot water it will immediately begin to thaw and to give tea its flavor. However, in this case, the tea will not very hot.
