Who have been subscribed to my channel knows that more than anything I love fish, especially the red and lightly salted. So today I want to share my recipe for salting salmon with butter and onions. Mmmm, yummy!
Ingredients:
pink salmon
salt
bulb onions
water
As you can see, there is little ingredients - fish, salt yes onions. I think that for salting red fish nothing more is needed. But in this recipe it is important, not the ingredients, namely the cooking process itself, so carefully read up to the end of the recipe, so as not to miss important details.
So, we need 2 salmon. Eviscerated fish and cut into pieces. The pieces were smooth and neat, I recommend cutting the fish when it is not yet thawed. The skin can be removed, but you can leave - do as you please.
Fold fish in a suitable container.
Now prepare the brine. Mix 1 liter of water at room temperature and 5 tablespoons of salt. Stir to dissolve the salt and pour the fish. Upon request, in brine can add the bay leaf and pepper.
Reserve pink salmon in brine for about 1 hour up to 1 hour 15 minutes (if large pieces). If you keep fish longer in brine, it will no longer salted. Moreover, it may be salted.
Now the brine discarded. Put the fish 1-2 onions, shredded thin half-rings and fill with vegetable oil. Oils need approximately 150 ml. Well all the stir that each piece of fish or onions was in oil, and put them in the refrigerator.
