Recently I saw a recipe for "pilaf" from... vermicelli! Recipe interested, prepared and I liked it! Now I want to share this meal with you! If you like noodles and pasta, then you will love!
Preparation:
300g chicken (or other meat to your taste) cut into slices. Fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.
Now add one chopped onion, one carrot. Carrots or cut into thin strips, or three on a grater. Also add 1-2 crushed garlic cloves. Pour half a glass of water, put salt, pepper and any spices to your taste. Simmer all together for 15 minutes.
I added a mixture of peppers, seasoning for chicken. Seasoning for pilaf did not add, because this dish is nothing to do with traditional pilau rice does not. "Vermicelli pilaf" - is, of course, conditional name of the dish.
Next put vermicelli about 250-300gr. Please note: It must be dry noodles! Fry all together for a few minutes on high heat, vermicelli should be golden brown.
Then pour approximately 250ml water (possibly slightly more than need be, depending on vermicelli), bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes under the lid. Periodically vermicelli "pilaf" stir.
Turn off the fire and wait for 5-7 minutes, until our meal "comes". That's it, you're done! Serve with fresh chopped herbs. Bon appetit, my dear friends!
