The whole secret of this tasty fat in onions and prunes - taste turns like smoked, but do not have to smoke! Very cool recipe subtracts it in old magazines and want to share with you :) I hope you enjoy

Ingredients:

fat
garlic
onions (or rather hulls onions)
prunes
salt
spices (pepper, bay leaf)
water

So, we need a piece of fat with meat layers, weighing about 1 kg. Cut it into 2 parts - so it is more convenient to cook.

Prepare the brine. Pour into pan 1 liter of water, adding prune pieces 5, 2 handful onion skin, bay leaves, black pepper 3-5 peas.

Also, add 200g of salt. Salt is not a lot, do not worry! The main thing is not to overdo then lard in brine, or get salty. Put in a pickle bacon.

Herewith brine to boiling and boil for 20-25 minutes. Then leave the bacon in the brine to cool overnight. That is, keeping in brine about 6-8 hours, no more.

Prepare Powder for fat. Mix 2 heads of garlic (finely chopped with a knife), black pepper. You can also add any other spices that you like, such as paprika.

Take out of the brine lard, rub-grained, tight wrap in foil or film and remove the food in the refrigerator.
