Cooking your favorite tomato sauce with your hands in the winter. 4 kg of tomatoes is obtained - 2.5 liters of ketchup chic!
Very tasty and thick, even eat with a spoon!
Ingredients:
4 kg of tomatoes
1 cup of sugar
1 cup water
100 ml of vinegar of 6%
35 gr. salt
3 pcs. carnations
1 h. l. black peppercorns
5 peas allspice
2 garlic cloves
Bay leaf
pinch ground nutmeg
0.5 hours. l. ground red pepper
Preparation:
1. Overripe tomatoes will need to get the color richer and more vivid taste of ketchup.
Wash tomatoes under running water, cut the base of the stalk and white veins.
Large fruit cut into 4 pieces, if tomatoes are small, the 2 parts.
2. Put the tomatoes in a pan and pour a glass of water. Cover and put on medium heat stew for 20-25 minutes until soft.
3. Beat the cooked tomatoes to the blender puree the state.
4. Then rub through a sieve to remove the remnants of the skin and seeds. To make tomato mass became homogenous.
5. Puree the tomatoes back on the stove and bring to a boil.
6. Add sugar and mix well until complete dissolution of the crystals.
Boil for exactly 10 minutes after boiling.
7. Take a piece of clean cloth or gauze in several layers, pour into it all the spices and garlic, crushed with a knife.
Tie the fabric so that the spices were in the node and turned out like this (below). Lower boiling knot ketchup.
8. Cook on the weight of low heat for 30 minutes with condiments, ketchup can be put out for 10 - 15 minutes to give the sauce more thick consistency.
9. Next, pour the vinegar and salt. As soon begins to boil - turn off the stove.
10. Ready hot ketchup pour into pre-washed and sterilized jars and bottles. Close boiled lids.
Cool and remove the deposit.
