This old and very easy recipe I learned from her mother in law and nothing in it has not changed. Jelly cooked in this manner like almost everyone, even those who do not like black currants.

This recipe is much easier than red currant jellyWith which I suffered for a long time, but still found the best option.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cup currants
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Jam jelly Blackcurrant

For a specified number of berries in the ingredients will need to take one cup of water.

Sterilized jars and lids.

Can be sterilized jars in an oven in the presence of a small amount of water.

intersperse berries in a suitable sized container.

There also pour a cup of water and put the berries on the plate.

Bring to the boil and cook the berries with a small burlenie exactly 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and immediately pour the sugar. Stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

For this purpose it is better to use a wooden spatula or spoon.

When all the sugar has dissolved to give the jam to cool until warm, pour it in sterilized jars and close the lid.

From this amount of food I got exactly one and a half liters of jam.

Here is the jam after complete cooling.

Already it looks like a jelly... although it has no gelatin not pectin.
