Kinds of pilaf there is a very large number. It is present in many national cuisines of the world, and everywhere there are subtleties and nuances in preparation.
I cook as like my family and do not pretend to be some sort of a national recipe. Rice pilaf, I use long grain, basmati, I like this.

Step by step recipe for pilaf with mushrooms
- Rinse well with rice.
- Wash the mushrooms and cut into lengthwise slices.
- Wash and clean the vegetables.
- Cut into julienne celery root, sweet and hot peppers, carrots, onions and garlic.
- Over high heat, fry the mushrooms to the evaporation of moisture, salt the and remove from the pan.
- Sauté onion until light golden brown, add the celery root.
- Sauté a few minutes and add the carrots, warm up a couple of minutes.
- After that, put pepper, garlic, hot pepper and fry all one more minute.

- Reduce the heat, cover and leave for 15-20 minutes.
