Cakes, which were prepared in the Soviet Union, made of high-quality and natural ingredients. Due to GOST single product in all pastry shops obtained tasty, and most importantly high quality. Today will discuss the cake, "Choux ring with cream," "Sugar tubule with a cream" cake and "Almond".

Most of the cakes of today's collections are now available in retail stores, but the taste is a completely wrong. Let's try to remember the desserts, which we loved so much.

Cakes were made from choux pastry. The size of the circular blank with a hole in the center was 65 mm. After baking, the preform is fully cooled, and then filled with custard cream or oil. The surface of the cake smeared fruit filling and then glazed.

I have always believed that the Soviet Union was prepared rings with curd cream, but this recipe in the book are not found. Apparently, cheese rings appeared only later. By the way, the recipe cheese rings have on my channel.

Cakes prepared from sugar dough, the composition is very similar to the wafer. Tubules were baked in the form of cones or cylinders. There are 2 versions of the test - a classic and nuts. Cakes were filled with butter cream.

Cake was prepared from the crude raw almonds. Nuts are first forced through a special grindstone, then mixed with the remaining ingredients and baked.

Easy to prepare and composition cake was very popular in the Soviet era. Cake and now is on the shelves, but without almonds. It was renamed the "Nut" and do basically peanut.
