I continue to learn the desserts, which were popular in the USSR. Today will discuss the cakes: IDEAL, crow's feet and a roll.
The more I delve into the topic of Soviet cakes, the more I continue to be convinced that prepared at the time the really good desserts. It is a pity that to buy it all, it was necessary to defend the queue. But cakes could end up in front of you.

cake IDEAL
Cake made from almond cakes square shape. As the interlayer used the cream and praline. On top of a cake decorated with cream, and in the heart of mastic sported a sign saying "IDEAL".
cake has not lived up to our time, but, judging from the description, it really was delicious. Just imagine, almond cakes, combined with praline, I already drooling from it flowed.
Cake crow's feet
Large sponge cake into four parts. In fact, it was prepared from a biscuit which is cut into the layer 3 and 4 parts. Biscuits abundantly impregnated with syrup and butter cream sandwiches.
Cake looks rich, but when I read what it consists of, a little upset. This is quite a simple sponge cake, which is just a little differently decorated. But this cake - the only one in today's collection, which is still available for sale.

Cake consisted of sponge cakes and chocolate cream was sandwiched on the basis of oil. Top was decorated with whipped cream and cream protein. The cake was popular in the Soviet era.
I do not understand why this cake called "Kalach" as it it does not look like. Perhaps, in the USSR loaf baked another form, but this is only my assumption. If you know, why is this so-called cake - tell us about it in the comments.
