Captain's cutlets: huge portions for real men

Tasty, simple, satisfying and a lot! Guys will appreciate it!

It looks like French meat, only simpler and portioned.

Ingredients:

600 gr. minced meat (pork with beef)
1 kg of potatoes
2 large tomatoes
150 gr. cheese
2 large onions
salt
pepper
mayonnaise
vegetable oil
a mixture of dry herbs and spices

You will also need portioned baking dishes - ceramic, clay or disposable aluminum (10x15 cm).

Preparation:

1. Salt the minced meat, season with spices and herbs. You can add a little chopped garlic to the minced meat.

2. Grease the molds with oil and put the minced meat in them. The indicated amount should be enough for 3-4 large portions.

Tamp with wet hands so that there are no voids.

3. Peel the onions and cut into large half rings. It would be nice to fry it until golden brown, but this is not necessary.
Place the onion on the minced meat in the tins.

4. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices of 2-3 mm. If they are very large, then cut in half.

5. Place the potatoes on the onion. Salt and season as well as minced meat.

6. Cut the washed tomato into circles. Make at least 4 circles from one tomato, but not too thin.

7. Place the tomatoes on top of the potatoes. Easy to lay neatly and beautifully.

8. For each serving you will need 2-3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise. But first, mayonnaise must be diluted in warm water or broth to get a liquid mixture.

Pour into molds for 5 tbsp. l. mayonnaise mixture.

9. Sprinkle tomatoes with grated cheese. There is no need to make a "hat" of cheese, here it is superfluous. Cheese is needed exclusively for the crust.

10. Bake the captain's portion cutlets at 220 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Serve directly in a baking dish.
