Holidays are coming soon, we won't have time to look back, and now it's time to celebrate the New Year. We need to prepare.
Let's start slowly, for example, with such a snack.
Ingredients for the roll:
6 eggs
50 gr. sour cream
carrot
0.5 tsp l. salt
ground black pepper
1 hour l. Provencal herbs or other dry
For filling:
200 gr. soft or pickled cheese (Adyghe, suluguni, feta cheese, etc.)
50 gr. sour cream
a bunch of greens (dill, parsley, basil)
1 hour l. table mustard
two pinches of salt
ground black pepper to taste
How to cook:
1. Beat eggs with sour cream. Season with salt, pepper and herbs. You do not need to beat the mass with a mixer, just shake it with a fork until the mixture is relatively homogeneous.
2. Grate the carrots and put in the egg mixture.
3. Line a baking dish or baking sheet with baking paper. Lubricate it with any oil.
4. Pour the omelet mixture into a mold, flatten. It should be borne in mind that the eggs will increase in size when heated and the sides must also be lubricated.
5. Bake the omelet cake at 170 degrees in an already preheated oven. About 10 minutes. The eggs should set, but not dry out.
6. Carefully separate the egg-crust from the parchment and leave to cool on the table.
7. It's time to start filling. To do this, grate or chop soft cheese with a fork. You can use processed cheese in a jar or sausage, it will also turn out interesting.
8. Put sour cream (mayonnaise), chopped herbs and dry herbs into the cheese. If you want, then squeeze out 1-2 cloves of garlic here through a press. Pepper and salt to taste.
9. Stir the filling and apply an even layer on the egg crust.
10. Using cling film or parchment, gently roll into a roll without pressing or moving the filling, but also without breaking the egg crust.
11. The resulting roll can be wrapped in cling film and refrigerated for 1-2 hours.
12. The omelet roll can be sliced when completely cooled.
Serve as an appetizer, snack or holiday meal. It looks very interesting, unusual and the result is pleasing.
Bon Appetit!
