Of course, there is a temptation to start marking in advance due to the presence of gurgling stocks, as the situation overboard is only getting worse every day.

But I think we still have restraint and self-control, so we store a good vinyl under the sofa and rub our hands in anticipation of the New Year holidays.

Canned food

Yes, that notorious canned green peas and not only him.

We rarely cook Olivier salad for the New Year's table, we have it for Christmas or we plan it on New Year's holidays. But... Last year, I somehow lost sight of the need to stock up on a couple of cans of canned sweet corn and red beans in my own juice.
As a result, on December 31, I chased between stores in search of the coveted can of beans - it was everywhere, but only in tomato or oven. And I needed just the usual one for appetizer and salad.

Do not repeat my mistakes and if you are going to cook something with canned vegetables, mushrooms, fruits, olives, legumes, etc. - shop now!

The same goes for mayonnaise, as well as caviar and sprat. If the terms are normal and there is where to store. Believe me, you will praise yourself for such prudence.

Sausage and cheese

It is difficult to imagine a Russian home meal without traditional plates with such cuts.

Already now I am buying sausage and cheese for the New Year's table. True, I still have only raw smoked sausage in my stash, and I rub the cheese on a grater and freeze it so that it can be used for salads or hot dishes.

Fish for a snack

Here you need to return to point # 1. I already buy pink salmon, chum salmon or salmon in carcasses. And cut them into fillets or steaks. Something will go to the main hot dish, something to delicious salads.

But mostly red and not only such a fish, I salt it myself and even sometimes smoke it. It turns out delicious, budgetary and there is always something to treat.
