And not a pie or casserole, but a very interesting variation on the theme of mashed potatoes with meat. Can be served hot or cold as a snack. It's amazingly tasty anyway!
Ingredients:
1 kg of potatoes
500 gr. champignons
500 gr. minced meat
2 eggs
salt
pepper
cheese
100 ml milk
2-3 onions
fresh or dried garlic
vegetable oil
How to cook:
1. Dice the onions, finely chop the mushrooms. First, fry the onion, then add the mushrooms to it. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Add 1 egg, chopped onion, 1/3 tsp to the minced meat. l. dried garlic or a few cloves of fresh pressed through a press. Knead the minced meat well and beat off the bottom of the bowl to make it more homogeneous.
3. Wash, peel and boil the potatoes in salted water. Mash the potatoes in mashed potatoes with milk and salt to taste. You can also add a piece of butter, but then you need to take less milk.
4. Grease the bottom of the baking dish with vegetable oil.
5. Distribute the minced meat in shape with a damp hand as a base, forming sides and tamping. Top with mushrooms fried with onions, slightly compacting with a hand or a spoon.
6. Then cheese grated on a fine grater. And the last layer of mashed potatoes. Place about half of the mashed potatoes on top of the cheese.
7. Transfer the other half into a pastry bag, cut off the edge and deposit the mashed potatoes over the entire surface of the dish in the form of curls or peaks. Smooth the uneven peaks of potatoes with a spoon dipped in water
8. Bake the dish for about 1 hour in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Receives a juicy and tender treat that can be easily cut into portions with a knife.
