The other day I wanted buckwheat, but not just buckwheat, but rich in taste, with chicken, vegetables. To make it tasty!
It turned out to be a delicious, simple hearty dish that cooks very quickly and does not require practically any labor from us.
✅I needed the following products:
- chicken breast - two small fillets (480 g)
- buckwheat - 200 g,
- frozen vegetable mix - 200 g (I used Mexican mix),
- tomato paste - 1 teaspoon (15 g),
- butter 10 g,
- salt, black pepper and dry garlic.
✅Cooking.
First of all, we deal with chicken breast. Rinse and cut into small pieces.
We send the chicken whistle to fry in a pan. I use non-stick pans and add a little water to keep it from burning.
Salt the chicken breast, pepper to taste and add 1/2 teaspoon dry garlic approximately.
Lightly fry the chicken breast and add the vegetable mixture to it. I added straight frozen.
Add tomato paste and stir.
I have a "Mexican Vegetable Blend" which includes carrots, bell peppers, green beans, corn.
As soon as the vegetable mixture thawed and began to fry a little, add the washed buckwheat, fill it with water.
You can add a little water.
The water should almost cover the buckwheat.
When the water starts to boil, add a piece of butter and stir in the butter.
Cover with a lid and simmer until buckwheat is cooked.
