For many years of fighting overweight, only calorie counting helped me achieve results and lose weight.

Recently, they often ask about the plateau, there are those who have encountered it for the first time and now worry that the weight is worth it. They ask what to do.

I once suffered from the plateau. I didn't know what to do with him, read various information. As a result, she overcame it by reducing calorie intake and increasing physical activity. And it didn't lead to anything good! Quite the opposite! I reduced my calorie intake, which is nowhere to go - up to 1100 kcal, approximately, and the weight was still quite large, I still lose weight and lose weight.

Now, after the mistakes, their correction (which is still going on), I know that the plateau must simply be lived through. Be patient and wait until the body is rebuilt. But first, you need to check yourself whether you really have a plateau or are you just doing something wrong:

  • do you remember to recalculate your norm (and accordingly the deficit) when losing weight by 5-10 kg. Weight goes away - the rate changes - and accordingly the deficit changes.
  • have you underestimated the daily calorie intake - from this, the weight can also get up, the body is under stress and does not want to give up the strategic reserve, it is better to turn off a number of processes.
  • do you think KBZHU correctly. Some people forget to take into account the finished weight of the dish, which they got after cooking. This does not take into account boiling, frying of products. It turns out that the calorie content of the dish is small, but in fact it is much higher than you think. Hence the incorrect calculations.
  • Do you use a kitchen scale or do you calculate calories by eye? There are no weights, the calculations are approximate - there may not be a result, since there may not be a deficit.

Check yourself. You are doing everything right, but the weight got up after dropping a decent amount of kilograms - it's time for the body to rest and rebuild. We just wait and maintain our deficit.

I'll tell you about my menu for today.

I have breakfast at about 7-30, 8 am.

For breakfast I have two eggs and a sandwich on whole grain bread (22 g) with a piece of cheese (23 g) and green tea.

It turned out breakfast for 325 kcal.

I deliberately did not bring my breakfast to the usual calorie around 400 kcal, because I was planning to have a snack with tea and pie.

Today I am at home all day, working at the computer and waiting for the delivery of my new kitchen device.

During the break, I had a snack. Snack at about 11 o'clock.

I try to stick to the diet whenever possible. And the body has become so accustomed to the regime that it begins to demand food by a certain time.

Snack - 160 g of jellied apple pie - 250 kcal.

I cooked cheese soup the other day in a huge pan and for the third day we have been eating it with pleasure.

Lunch (at about 1 pm) - a plate of cheese soup (460 g) - 300 kcal.

I understand that I should eat more vegetables, but I can't bring myself to eat them. What a day I can't.

As I think about vegetables, the mood even spoils.

Therefore, somehow, once a day, I try to eat some vegetables.

I waited for the dried mango, but for some reason they could not deliver it to me. Finally I will eat.

After lunch, I ate 50 g of dried mango with tea - 155 kcal.

They offered us to buy languages ​​at a lower price the other day, of course, I decided to participate. I don't remember the last time I ate beef tongue. And the tongue is quite high in calories.

But everything can be entered into KBZHU and feast on!

Dinner - 130 g of boiled beef tongue and 150 g of stewed vegetables (Mexican mixture). Dinner turned out to be 390 kcal.

When I was stewing vegetables, I tried my new kitchen device - a spray. And how did I live without him before? This is just a godsend for those who monitor nutrition. It is very convenient to sprinkle a cloud of olive oil on the pan and fry something. The oil is not more than a gram, but nothing will definitely stick to the pan and the calorie content of the dish will not be high.

In addition, I liked to fill the salad in portions from the sprayer - I puffed a couple of times and the oil was distributed among the vegetables.

When I read reviews for sprayers, I saw that some complained that they sprayed not in a cloud, but in a jet. And as you understand, the jet is not quite what we need - it is a lot of oil.

As a result, it turned out that room temperature oil is sprayed with a cloud, and if you store oil in the refrigerator, there will be a jet.
