On my channel, I share not only my experience of losing weight and my everyday menu, but also recipes for dishes that are included in my slimming diet.
Losing weight comfortably, tasty and not starving is possible! I even eat pies and lose weight by counting calories.
The main thing is the preparation of low-calorie meals.
Have you heard of the existence of the French apple pie? I've only recently learned about such a cake, and when I saw the ingredients, I realized that this cake is exactly what we need!
Moreover, the apple season is in full swing, let's take advantage of the moment.
🍏For apple pie, I needed the following products:
- 500 g of apples (the weight already in its pure form is about 7 small apples),
- 100 g milk 2.5%,
- 2 chicken eggs
- 20 g butter
- 80 g whole grain rice flour
- a bag of vanillin 1g,
- 8-9 sachets of sweetener, if your apples are sour (1 sachet = 1 g = 5 g of sugar),
- 1 level teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt.
🍏Cooking.
Cooking the dough.
We send the butter to the microwave in advance to soften and then cool a little. You don't need to use butter at all, but with butter it tastes more delicate, creamy.
Beat two eggs, a pinch of salt and sweetener. It is not necessary to beat until foamy, you can just beat well with a whisk.
My apples were a little sour and so I used 9 sachets of sahzam. If the apples are sweet, I think 7-8 sachets will be enough.
Add milk and melted butter and beat everything well again.
Next, combine the flour with baking powder and add to the eggs with milk and butter. Mix well. I used whole grain rice flour - I like it, I like the delicate texture of the dough with it. But in this case, you can use ordinary wheat flour, remembering that these are fast carbohydrates.
The dough is ready.
Apples should be peeled and cut into very thin slices. I used a regular grater, it just has sides on which you can adjust the slices.
Apples can be drizzled with lemon juice to keep them from browning.
Combine apples with dough and mix well.
Take a baking dish. I have a silicone mold 18 cm, I do not lubricate it with anything. If we took molds of a smaller diameter, the cake will be higher (I didn’t find a suitable one for so many ingredients).
We spread the dough in a mold and tamp well.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the cake for 40 minutes.
Always refer to your oven for baking time.
Make sure to let the cake cool down. Then we take it out of the mold and enjoy it.
