Today I have an orange muffin recipe for you. The fragrance is divine! On cold evenings, a piece of orange cake will cheer you up and warm you up.

And most importantly, you need a minimum of food.

🍊 To make the orange muffin, I needed the following foods:

  • large orange (from which I got 225 g of orange juice with pulp),
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • semolina from TSP (semolina) - 100 g (can be replaced with flour - about 120-125 g of flour),
  • 5 sachets of sweetener (1 sachet of sahama is 1 g = 5 g of sugar),
  • 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda.

🍊Cooking.

The first thing we do is remove the zest from the orange with a fine grater.

Next, roll the orange a little with pressure, cut it in half and squeeze all the juice into a bowl. It's not scary if the pulp gets into the juice. I got 225 g of juice from a large orange.

Add the zest, 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda, sahzam and 2 eggs to the orange juice.

Mix well. Soda with orange gives a reaction - the mass begins to foam and increase in volume.

Next, add semolina (semolina) and mix well.

📌 Instead of semolina, you can use flour, taking it a little more than semolina - about 120-125 g.

If you used semolina, let the dough stand to swell the semolina. I just stood for 5 minutes.

The dough is poured into a muffin pan, no more than 16 cm in diameter. I have a silicone mold, I wanted to use a mold with a hole in the middle today (I don't know what it's called😂).

We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

For baking time, be guided by your oven.
