We all come from childhood. And culinary addictions, as a rule, are formed precisely in childhood. I grew up in the Far East and here fish the days were far away not the worst in terms of feeding in school. Sometimes there were pollock, cod and hake, but more often pink salmon and chum salmon.

By the way, on such "fishy" days in our school cafeteria they also cooked my favorite salad with trumpeter (something similar to Olivier, but instead of sausage - seafood) and for many years I thought that the trumpeter was something like a squid. Only as an adult, I learned that a trumpeter is a mollusk (outwardly - a shell and nothing else !!!)

So, the habit of eating fish on Tuesday and Thursday remained with me. No, of course, we cook fish on other days of the week, but these days I think about fish and seafood especially often.

Today, Thursday, we will prepare a quick dinner of pink salmon and potatoes in a country style.

To cook pink salmon you will need:

* pink salmon - I have halves of a carcass (fillet)
* sour cream - 3-4 tablespoons
* garlic - 2-3 cloves
* ginger - 2-3 cm
