Five years ago, I saw products with such a logo in Auchan and was surprised why their price is an order of magnitude lower than that of others with the same composition? I read the composition itself and the reviews. Moreover, with such a logo we buy not only products, but a lot of other things: household chemicals, MCI (we call soap-rye accessories), food and filler in the cat tray, stationery and other.
As for the products. The composition, I must say, is decent in most cases. For example, butter. Composition:
For me, this is a completely normal composition for oil. And the price of a package is 400 grams (before, although there were 500 grams), 180 rubles.
I will do a review of dairy products sometime separately. Now we are not talking about individual products. And about why the price is so low. I have read and heard different versions. Here is some of them:
- -the company does not spend a lot of paint on the packaging of goods, only four colors: yellow / green / black / white
- -firm sells non-liquid goods
- - these are private label goods (own brand)
- - the goods are completely irrevocable, therefore the margin is minimal
- - this color in France marks the product for the poor (by the way, Auchan is from France)
- -this brand does not spend money on advertising
Which of this is true? Perhaps points 3 and 6 are for sure.
Indeed, the Everyday brand is Auchan's own chain. This means that the products are supplied to Auchan directly from the manufacturer by order, bypassing the costs of intermediaries, sales representatives, buyers, forwarders and analysts. In addition, the volume of orders from Auchan long away not small. This means that both the manufacturer and the seller feel good: there is no headache where to sell large quantities of goods in a short time.
"Every day" is not a factory in a particular region. it Private label, which means that goods under this brand are produced in different regions of our mother Russia and then flock to Auchan for sale.
I monitored many "KD" products and, for example, a can of sardines under so the logo costs 38 rubles, and the manufacturer of this canned food (in a different package, but with the same composition and shelf life) - 67 rubles.
On item 6 - "KD" really does not have advertising. And the cost of advertising, so you know, is almost 20% of the cost of the goods that we purchase from brand manufacturers!
And one moment. In my previous job, I often had to communicate with employees of Rospotrebnadzor. I wondered several times: are they not bombarded with complaints about these goods? No! Moreover, according to the results of checks, many products are superior to similar brands. (do not believe me, read reviews on the internet).
Why am I all this? I am for reasonable savings. I do not like to overpay if you can not. Because my motto is: "Each ruble is a step towards my new journey!" And I love to travel ✈✈✈
