Casserole of potatoes and minced meat with a cheese crust. Tasty and satisfying

A great dinner or lunch option for the whole family. It turns out incredibly tasty, appetizing and satisfying. Also, this dish is very easy to prepare. Take note of the recipe, I'm sure you will like my casserole :)))

Ingredients:

minced meat
potatoes
onion
carrot
cheese
sour cream
vegetable oil
water
salt
spice
* rice (optional)

Cut one small onion into small cubes. Grate 1/2 carrots and fry the vegetables a little in vegetable oil. We fry literally 3-5 minutes, no more.

Now we take 200-250 grams of any minced meat and add fried vegetables to it. Add salt, pepper and other spices to taste. Stir the minced meat well and form small meatballs from it.

If desired, you can add a little rice to them. Only the rice must be cooked first. This is an optional ingredient. Sometimes I cook with rice, sometimes without it - it always turns out delicious.

Cut potatoes 500 gr into circles or semicircles, depending on the size of the tubers. Sprinkle the potatoes with a little salt and mix with your hands.

Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, lay out the minced meatballs, and between them - potatoes. We put in the oven for 20 minutes, the temperature is 180 degrees.

Then pour the sauce from 1 glass of water and 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream and put back in the oven for 15 minutes.

We take it out again, sprinkle with grated cheese on top (about 50 grams) and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese melts and is browned.

That's it, the delicious casserole is ready, you can sprinkle it with fresh herbs on top and serve. Bon appetit, friends!
